Spending these late nights praying and writing for the last two years has changed me like nothing I've ever imagined.

I stopped taking things so seriously.

I don't hustle for anything

I trust that everything will work out for me.

I get to pray for 36,000 women every day.

I am blessed that 20,000 of them open an email daily.

I've found joy in writing and pouring again.

There are little spurts of creativity and executed ideas

But at the end of the day, just sitting still, praying, and writing brings me so much peace.

Over 930 mini podcast episodes and 465 written devotionals later....

And I believe the transformation, regulation, and stabilization of me simply operating in my gifts has made room for me.

Where I hustled to a million before

I'm walking into millions with ease.

It's Reheboth for me.

It's season after season of not fighting for the increase. Weeping may endure for the nght but joy comes on the other side.

I hear 2 Samuel 7:1 - The Lord gave David rest from all His enemies right before releasing the Davidic Covenant.

I'm here now. At peace, far from the warfare I've known for so many years. Far from the pain of fighting just to be "here". Here in business. Here with my children. Here in purpose.

Here. Present. Full of peace and free to simply be.

This is the beginning of something new. Who knows where it will go… but I’m grateful you’re on the journey. I’m grateful to pray and write the day away.

I’m blessed with the responsibility of managing this power responsibly with a heart that pleases God.

This month we are discussing Built-In Boundaries that set you up for success. But first: let’s cover 6 of the major missteps made when growing a movement:

A profitable movement is not built by doing more.
It is built by deciding who you are, what you do, and what you will not bend on.

Most movement launchers are not struggling because they lack talent or calling.
They struggle because their positioning has no boundaries.
And without boundaries, confusion enters both the message and the market.

Here are six of the most common mistakes made when positioning themselves and attempting to attract clients.

1. Trying to Serve Everyone Instead of Speaking to One

When you try to help everyone, no one feels spoken to and no one feels truly seen in a way to cultivates real connection.

This often shows up as:

• Vague language

• Generic promises

• Over-explaining what you do

• Offering multiple services with no clear entry point

Clear positioning says:
“This is who I serve. This is the problem I solve. This is how I solve it.”

Boundaries in messaging are an act of leadership.
They tell the right people, You are home here.

2. Leading With Credentials Instead of Transformation

Many business owners lead with:

• Certifications

• Years of experience

• Titles

• Spiritual language or industry jargon

But clients are not buying credentials.
They are buying clarity, relief, movement, and results.

Positioning anchored in boundaries says:
“This is the before. This is the after. This is the bridge I provide.”

Transformation is the language of trust.

3. Positioning From Insecurity Instead of Authority

When positioning is driven by fear, it sounds like:

• Over-discounting

• Over-giving without structure

• Explaining yourself too much

• Constantly changing offers

Authority comes from decision, not volume.

Built-in boundaries say:
“This is how I work. This is the container. This is the value.”

Confidence attracts aligned readers, followers, and ultimately clients.
Insecurity attracts chaos.

4. Blending Personal Identity With Business Without Structure

Many faith-driven or mission-driven leaders blur the lines between:

• Personal access and professional access

• Calling and availability

• Compassion and compensation

This leads to burnout and resentment.

Healthy positioning honors both heart and structure.

Boundaries say:
“I care deeply, and this is a professional container.”
“I serve generously, and this is how value is exchanged.”

Ministry still requires management.

5. Teaching Too Much Instead of Inviting Action

Another common mistake is turning all content into education.

While teaching builds trust, direction builds conversion.

If everything you share explains but nothing leads, clients stay inspired but stuck.

Strong positioning includes:

• Clear next steps

• Clear offers

• Clear expectations

Boundaries create momentum.

6. Avoiding Clear Offers Out of Fear of Rejection

Some business owners hide behind content because offering feels vulnerable.

This looks like:

• Posting daily but never inviting

• Saying “reach out if interested” instead of naming the offer

• Waiting for clients to figure it out

Clarity is kindness.

A clear offer is a boundary that says:
“This is available. This is for you. This is how you step in.”

People cannot choose what you refuse to name.

Boundaries are an innate form of leadership.

Clarifying this in every facet of building your movement will bring ease into your development process and cultivate an environment of authenticity and relatability that invites others to follow you, see you as a leader, and step into partnership with you.

Boundaries do not repel aligned clients.
They protect your energy, clarify your message, and create trust.

January is not about hustling harder.
It is about laying foundations that can hold growth.

There is a difference between power as the world sees it and power as God sees it.

So often, we evaluate our lives through a worldly lens. If we do not accomplish every goal or complete every checkmark on our to do list, we feel as though we have failed or fallen short. We set incredible standards for ourselves in the pursuit of prosperity and growth in God, yet we measure success by exhaustion and output.

But when you begin to see prosperity the way God sees it, everything changes.

The way the guru haphazardly builds, the power behind nonstop hustling, working sixteen hour days while missing time with family, no longer appeals to you. You become the woman who moves completely outside the boundaries of traditional business thinking. You earn differently. You create differently. You strategically allot your time differently.

All in alignment with God’s divine design for your life.

No more trying to figure everything out on your own. No more spending hours and hours attempting to break through. Walking with God is a completely different story. There is a different energetic balance. You are no longer wasting your energy trying to do all the things, learn all the things, and force outcomes to happen.

Instead, you let go of society’s definition of success and the systems that built what we see today. You begin to build eternally. You build with ease. You build with balance. You build something with real legacy, something that will stand the test of time.

As a Powerhouse woman, your assignment is not to build the way the world builds. Your calling is to be a light on a hill so that God may be glorified through your life. When you are a woman who has raised children, retired from a career, or entered a new season of purpose, success begins to look different.

It looks more like Joyce Meyer in action. It looks like a mighty woman of God in her fifties and sixties operating in a Kingdom assignment with teams and support. Building with God looks different. It defies logic. It often makes no sense to the world.

People will call it luck, but you will know it was intentionality and blessing that shifted everything. Your life becomes a witness. Your testimony begins to shake the foundations of other people’s lives.

This kind of building makes people uncomfortable, especially when they are accustomed to fast results and microwave faith. Just as Sarah once convinced Abraham to produce Ishmael through impatience, building with God can feel illogical to those who are rushing outcomes. It may seem slow. It may not make sense. It may appear as though it is not worth it.

It’s Up to You to Choose

It is up to you to choose something different. It is up to you to steward the measure of faith God has given you and to build intentionally and strategically. This kind of building may take much longer than you ever imagined, but it goes far deeper.

Your development and growth may take three years compared to someone else’s haphazard three month success. But what you build will last. It will stand. It will endure.

Power in the world is often about ego, control, visibility, and the appearance of being on top. But power that prospers is rooted in intentionality, consistency, deliberateness, and steadfastness.

Power that prospers takes time. It grows in seasons.

Consider the mighty oak tree.

The years and years of growth an oak tree undergoes give it the ability to stand for hundreds of years. It becomes deeply rooted. Its roots spread wide beneath the surface. Over time, the root system expands and strengthens. Scientific studies have even examined oak trees to better understand the sources of their longevity and resilience.

There is always a way. As you grow through transition and start something new, you’re going to experience obstacles. You’re going to hit snags on what to do, what to call it, how to build it, who it’s for, and so many other things. That is the nature of building.

It is a very messy process. The cleaner you try to make it, the slower you grow as an individual and in the work. Attempting to control the creativity and overthinking the process are two of the causes preventing so many of us from seeing “The Finish”.

In this case, we’re calling it “The Finish” simply because we’re going to see it not as a destination but as living evidence of the behind-the-scenes work you’ve been doing.
